Which material is better for stage curtains

Stage curtains are one of the components of a stage, and the types of stage curtains also have many functions. Below, our stage curtain manufacturers will take you to understand which material is best for stage curtains.

There are basically four types of stage curtains: soft screen, fiberglass screen, woven white plastic screen, and glass bead screen.

1、 Soft screen: divided into forward projection soft screen and back projection soft screen. Most front projection soft screens are white, while rear projection soft screens are gray. The reason is that current projection devices do not rely on gray to increase contrast, and gray has a biased effect on the display of colors. The gray color of the rear projection soft screen is due to the need to reduce the reflection of direct light sources, so that the front viewing audience can see a more natural picture quality. Therefore, the gray color of the rear projection also has its significance. Overall, the effect of a forward throw is better than a back throw. Whether it is a front projection or a rear projection soft screen, this PVC material used for projection has the image quality, the bright sharpness of a fiberglass screen, and can perform softly, both of which are available. There are also significant characteristics: the soft screen is not a surface coating, but a thick imaging PVC, with rich three-dimensional sense and transparent image quality. Due to the lack of a base cloth to support, the material is relatively soft. Therefore, it is necessary to make a rope curtain with expansion and leveling effects to make the screen surface straight, or to make a picture frame curtain, and use the spring of the picture frame curtain to straighten the curtain. Soft screen features: bright and soft, three-dimensional transparency, DLP in the screen.

2、 Glass fiber curtain: divided into white glass fiber and gray glass fiber. The fabric is a base fabric woven from glass thread, and the surface layer is coated with PVC material with special projection effect. Due to the support of fiberglass base cloth, it does not need to be flattened and will naturally stretch straight. Its advantage lies in its ability to maintain flatness even in situations of temperature differences and significant climate changes. Due to the effect of fiberglass substrate, the gain and contrast increase. The white screen has bright colors, while the gray screen can increase contrast. In the past, when projection equipment had sufficient brightness and insufficient contrast, gray screens were used. Currently, most high-definition projection equipment is faithful to real colors, and the new high-definition projection equipment itself has contrast, so most people choose white screens. Fiberglass curtains are widely used for good screens.

3、 Machine woven white plastic screen: divided into white screen (also known as white plastic) and gray screen. A base fabric woven from textile threads, with a surface layer coated with PVC material with other projection effects. Applied in the fields of business and teaching.

4、 Glass bead screen: woven from textile thread into a cloth bottom, coated with glass beads on the surface, mainly used to increase brightness, but with poor contrast and viewing angle, the image quality is worse than other screens. Used in many bright places. Due to the presence of lumen light in commercial and educational projection equipment, the use of glass bead screens is becoming increasingly rare.
